Re: Trying to Decrease Utilization

Sorry to hear that. Yeah, maybe I should have made it more clear that it's typically very difficult to get CLIs or approvals when you're maxed out.

Re: Trying to Decrease Utilization

I'd say the low CL is not that surprising considering the high balance on your Citi. Congratulations on your approval.

Re: Trying to Decrease Utilization

With you new job, work on paying down your debt. Make a budget and stick to it. SD your cards and don't use them until your util is under control.

Good luck

+1

OP, congrats on new TL.  It's a little more breathing room, at least.  With the two CCs practically maxed out and two hovering near 50% UTIL, it's definitely time to start pushing that UTIL down through payments.   Good luck!

Re: Trying to Decrease Utilization

To totally clear out your credit UTL...I'd suggest an installment loan for the remaining balances. Only if you don't currently have a BT offer on the new tradeline. SD and forge through!

As of 2017, rebuilding...

Re: Trying to Decrease Utilization

^^^

On the low lmit, they just told me thats what I was able to get based on income and debt.  I have no baddies at all just inquiries.

I make $42,000.  I just got the job 7 months ago.  I live with mom and pay no rent.  ANd my Credit card bills amount to $400 a month.

WHen I got Citi, they gave me $8500 out the box.

DIscover will be paid down my the end of November.  So I will see if I can get an increase.

I dont know why my Loans dont show deferrment.  Even on MYfico when you click inside it show defferred.

I have a crush on the recon lady.  She sounded so sweet and gentle.  Now that im making some money i need a gentle woman.
