Two New Cards: USB & NFCU (um actually 3)

[ Edited ]

USB, two accounts: 10,000 and 17,300

NFCU, one account: 15,000

USB said they'd run EQ (742) have 2 checking accounts, once since 97 and one since 04.

No lates, 25% utilization on 42,520, oldest account 9yrs 11mon, average age of accounts 5 years, nothing bad except age could be longer, utilization could be less, I have 1 inq just over 6 months, one inquiry over 1 year, 1 new account just over six months, 1 closed new account over six months.

Doubled my CL using only two institutions. I passed on PenFed because of 25% utilization which is now 12.5% after all this updates lol. Hope this helps anyone looking for NFCU or USB. :smileyhappy:

Are the USB cards pre-selected/pre-approved offers?  Did USB offer 2 separate credit card offers

No. The USB cards were from walking in to the branch. I run a book business on amazon and half. I wanted two accounts so I could separate charges. It was a bit strange cause the higher limit one was the 2nd one approved.

Unless, they've changed their policy, you can get up to 3 cards with NFCU.

My DH and I applied for the nRewards & Platinum with NFCU yesterday. Today he had to fax them copies of paystubs.
