Just was a approved, last Friday for the Capital One Venture card, and got the email, card was sent out on tuesday. Today I received a letter stating the terms and congratulations on my new card, but I won't receive it for another 2 to 3 weeks. Very weird, I have 2 other cards with them and never encountered such a delay, usually the email says 3 to 7 days. Is this typical of the venture card or something?
I would suspect delays are related to the last minute issuance of millions of chip cards that are causing backlogs at the companies that actually produce the cards.
