Hello everyone,
I am just starting to garden and I was wondering how long does it tyically take until you start to see results from gardening?
Depends on your file. If you share some information other that just your scores regarding your reports people should be able to provide you some feedback from their experience.
100% on time payments
Card Utilization between 1%-5%
Discover -$2900 - 7 months old
AMEX -$2500 - 6 years
Capital One $2400- 3 years
Amazon $900 - Brand new
Ally Auto loan $30,000 opened April - paid down to $80 (Credit report currently showing $28,000 remaining on loan) Planning on keeping this loan for at least 6 months for reporting purposes
I have a couple of old loans that are still on credit report showing as paid and one credit card account that I closed
Badies are all medical debt, ranging for $75 -$800 around 22 separate collections from 2015
Like stated above, depends on your file. Also depends on what else you plan to do while gardening, like lower util etc...

I'd say around 6-12 months you should start seeing some movement. Just because of the accounts/inquiries aging.
I already keep my utilization betwen 1 and 5% each month. The main thing affecting my score is the medical debt. I guess I'm going to have to wait for those to fall off.

Yeah, I had a lot of inquiries with the car loan and I have 2 credit cards that are less than a year old.

Or why not see if you can pay it off or come to an angreement of some sorts?

I'm not really sure how to go about doing that in a way that they actually remove them from my report entirely. I'm interested in buying a home at some point and don't want to wait 4 years for those things to fall off.

Medical collections are VERY good about doing PFDs. Usually you can just call and ask if you pay it in full if they will agree to remove from credit reports. They typically jump on it and follow through. :-)
