Re: U.S. Bank Cash+ Visa Signature(r) Card: $50 Cash Bonus via Facebook!!!!

I applied for the cash+  card but was approved for the flex cash card. The rewards are not that great for what i understand for the card i was approved for. Ill keep it and just use it enough to keep it alive and kicking and then down the road i will see if they will convert it(if it is still as good as it is now) . Not that i think it would have made a big difference but i have paid off just over 2k in cc debt in the last month and that has not reported. Leaving me with about 19k of debt.  Working at it hard. The good part is right now almost all of it is at 0% (2k is at 2.99) and in the next few weeks i expect to be able to put 1.5k towards the 2k. So the fact that they are conservative I can understand why i did not get approved for the Cash+

No problem doing a PC from Platinum to Cash Plus.  Holding now to ask underwriting about a CLI.

Edit:  They said to call back monday for a CLI decision.  Never had that before.. It's always been an instant decision.

Telephone version of the wait 2-3 days online message :smileyhappy:.  Happens.

I hope it's good news :smileyhappy:  They told me it was a better idea to request a CLI, then PC rather than the other way around.  Not sure why.

I was going to call back today from work, but I re-sock drawered the card (literally) and don't have the card number memorized.  Oh well!

Yea, the Cash+ card is really the only one US Bank has that's worth having.  I had a college student card with them and upgraded it to Platinum just because I thought the card would look cool (it doesn't).  I'm going to upgrade this to the Cash+ though pending a CLI.

I'm in the South, Alabama to be more specific,  and suprisingly they pulled TU for me, which is great seeing that everyone else always pulls EQ and I have more inquiries there than on TU!!

Never would've guessed from your forum name and your icon... Roll Tide! :smileywink:

Many congrats on the approval too.
