I don't have a backdoor number, but if I were in your shoes, I'd try calling an app number, if one is offered on the apping part of the website, or a 'call if any questions' number if they gave you one in their initial turn-down response thingy (Chase does this in their CLI denial emails) and see if anyone there can either handle a recon or put you through to someone higher up who CAN talk to you about your app and do a recon.
