As stated above, 12.9 for the Rate Advantage is high. They can and lower APR's but if you want it for a low APR then why apply when your credit doesn't qualify for a low APR? Let things cool off and you'll probably qualify for better.
The urge has subsided to a manageable level. Thanks for talking me down, peeps!

I think I'm still young enough to enlist but I'd go Navy all the way.The Navy is a great was to see the world.
I was Air Force. My brothers were Army. My cousin was Navy.
Oh Really???
4 years I saw Sunny Sandy Eggo & Newport, RI. Took a 2 hour tour on the Intrepid just to be able to say I was on a ship!
I had a card offer for months, finally disappeared long after the expiration date. Now I have this one.. Tempting, but not sure I want to move from my current bank. I wonder if there are other ways to qualify a $250 DD. The fine print says ACH doesn't qualify.

Stage, I think I have you beat. 4 years in, I only saw Charleston. The worse or good part of that was that I'm originally from Charleston. The only time I was on a ship is when we went for blood bank donations.
This offer expired a week ago, and another popped up today. The new one is the Rate Advantage MasterCard with a higher APR of 14.9. Not going for it, but it's nice to get offers.

Glad to get them. Never have even got one
The USAA Rate Advantage card was the first card I applied for in years. The 6.9% rate is a teaser IMO, and I highly doubt anyone will actually get it. I had excellent scores, no INQs, etc, etc and they only offered me 10.9%. Every card I have applied for after that offered larger CLs and lower APRs. I cancelled my USAA card already.
