Um...this card is a wee bit better than the aforementioned NFCU.
GoRewards is 3x Dining, but only 2x gas...
And um...this card does 3% on travel purchases too. GoRewards does not. Wonder if someone under 60 whips this card out and asks for senior discount and is successful...just for fun...just for fun...

Its not just the scores... I applied at 5am, and called 7 hours later, and have yet to have a decision yet.
When I was denied Sept. 2nd, they stated I had more then 5 new accounts in a year.
Does that not apply anymore?
Its so hard not to apply for this card.
I convinced a friend of mine with barely any credit to apply for this card 2 weeks ago and he was instantly approved with a $2500 cl.

I understand this... Chase especially this time of year probably has some sort of delay or verification process even if you have 850 and 0 inquiries it very well could not be instant approval. How they deem who goes into additional verification or give instant approval only chase knows this answer. Could be purely random.

Did you call UW? If so ya they look for a reasoan to deny you otherwise let it ride out and if your profile supports it, most likely you will be approved.
