Re: PSECU or NFCU

Yeah, app for both and let us know how it goes.  psecu is a little more conservative, but if you quality for their cad you can get an awesome limit, with them you either qualify or you dont, meaning they will deny you for a 2k limit same as they would deny you for 10k.  Hope you get both cards,  Good luck to you.

Re: PSECU or NFCU

Do you have DD with NFCU?  If not after you apply over the phone or online and most likely get the 3-5 day message wait the next day I would fax them your proof of income.  Sometimes they request it and sometimes they dont.  However some posters here have mentioned faxing their proof of income and the success with doing it.  I cant give insight with PSECU cause I dont deal with them.  I would also wait until the investigation updates with your dispute.  If its truely not yours then your best bet is to wait until its removed and updated report.  You have a strong AAOA and great income so I have no doubt they will beat that 5k limit with BOFA.

Re: PSECU or NFCU

Root...Ive had the acct for 2 wks now and last week friday I deposited $500 in there and have $100 DD going in there starting at the end of this month since I primarily bank with USAA. With the dispute its been almost 6 months of constant back and forth. Meaning I dispute those 2 acts then the CA verifying it (with a simple name, dob, address and ssn) and the CRA accepting it...its getting frustrating since I have worked on my credit for the past month and gotten everything off except for CA and CO which is not mine and the 2 accts which is PAID back they refuse to remove it.  THANKS

Re: PSECU or NFCU

So I pulled the trigger for NFCU! I called and they said it would take 3-7 days. I printed my paystub just incase. Should I fax it now, wait till tomorrow or just wait the 3-7 days? Do I fax the copies of my paystub to anyone or a specific dept? Suggestions

Re: PSECU or NFCU

If you can get into PSECU, I would definately do that while you are still in PA.  I wish I could get into that CU for the EX FICO scores.

I am with PSECU as well but I have 1 last thing to clear up before I pull that trigger. Im actually in Maryland. When you app'd for your NFCU cc did you have to fax anything or did you just wait it out?

Re: PSECU or NFCU

I signed up for membership online for the purpose of getting a credit card, but it was taking to long to get my account info so I called them a few days later and was approved for a credit card over the phone instantly.  I don't remember sending them anything.
