That's what they did with my Discover It card too and I was horrified because anybody in the neighborhood could have taken it.  Not cool at all.

 The card is not activated so why worry so much ?

Also not my problem if someone steals it and goes crazy. That's the bank's problem.

+1 ... no need to worry

I would say, leave a note on your door telling the UPS man where you want him to put it. I got my Discover It card but it was with FedEx and he left it at my door

They have no way of knowing what is in the package, so blame Discover, not them.

If the Chase card requires a signature it will say so on the UPS website. Usually you can have them release it without a signature, but you may need to sign up for UPS My Choice first.

Re: UPS delivery of credit card

In the end I was working at home because of the snow! Card received and activated.

Turns out the $2000 in 3 month spend requirement is gonna be super easy to do: I have a car repair bill of $3400 I need to pay today or tomorrow!

PNC Points Visa $3.3k (5/09), Amex PRG NPSP (9/10), Amex BCP $7.6k (10/12) -> $19.7k (3x CLI), Amazon Chase Visa $3.1k (10/12), Citi Forward Student $4k (11/12), Chase Southwest RR Premier $8k siggy (3/13 - 50k sign up bonus)

EX FICO 767 10/12
TU FAKO(? from Chase Amazon) 742/990 10/12
