@sillykitty1 wrote:So since i app'd for the Ritz card yesterday, I decided to make a mini sign up bonus spree of it and app for the US Air card. It went pending, so I called in. Really nice UW, asked me about all my new accounts, which I explained. She said I was approved, but already I'm at max exposure w Barclays. So I opted to take $5K from my Sallie Mae ($19K line) and move it to the US Air.
Congrats!

quantas or ba are best places to look for cathay award travel, just an FYI its pretty hard to find more than 1 FC ticket on cathay thru award travel at an time. I have perusing January 2016 and its pretty hard to find.

The miles from US and AA can be used for award travel on qantas and ba? Don't think this is possible isn't it

yes they are all one world partners. The example i was using with ba and quantas is to look up cathay availablity since you can't see Cathay availablility on AA or US air.
Out of curiosity - what is going to happen to this card once US folds their Dividend Miles program into the AAdvantage Program. I recently logged into my US Dividend Miles account and i was prompted to link my Dividend Miles and AAdvantage accounts.
The notatioin suggested that nothing will happen immediately. However, by linking the accounts - it will make the conversion process easier in the coming months.
