What do you guys think about this? INTEREST IS HIGH AS HECK!! Trying to pay it off is not east.

1. Does it show up on my credit report?

2. Suppose I want to switch checking accounts, and close this reserve line. Is it like closing a CL?

It is like a cash advance just without advance fee. It is good for in case S..T

It does show on all 3 reports usually as a installment loan

Yes it is like a closing a C. line, if you just convert the account to the other type it will stay, but if you close it, they will close the credit line as well, but you can always open another one for new account

LOC's usually shows up as revolving credit like credit cards do.

It does what you said  on EQ, on EX mine shows as an installment loan, while TU sorts it as a personal loan. It is a little crazy
