US Bank CC $5,000 limit with ficos in 650-660's

Just letting everyone know I just rec'd a US Bank Travel Rewards card with a TU664 and Ex 656.  I had a card default within the past 4 years with US Bank.  (Which I paid in full) and they still issued the new card!

I also opened a checking and savings acct with a combined $7500 balance so that might have helped.

Did you apply in the branch or online? was it an instant approval? i have been hearing good things about US Bank lately.

Congrats. Besides the scores, what are details about your inq's on your CR's and new recent credit approvals and balances on your existing cards? Probably you have very low inq's and new accounts, that helped you with your approval.

I got a bike loan that I got 6 months same as cash, and I'm hoarding cash to pay it off over the next 2 months. Will apply for US Bank, probably business cc. Hope I do as well as you did.

Congrats, OP! Nice job!

Good thing you put that second paragraph in there. It may slow the stampede.
