US Bank Cash + Categories Question

Just a quick question. Does anyone have experience with the rewards with this card? By that, I mean it says it may take up to several business days (2 or 3 I think it said) for the 5% to take effect. Does anyone have any experience with the wait time? I just received the card today and want to run it through some fast food lunch to get 5%. XD Thanks for the responses!

I think its right away.  There will be a screen something along the lines of you are all set and normally followed by an email confirmation.

Ok. If it isn't right away, would that mean the categories I used will count as 1% or will they do some sort of backtracking?

When I pc'ed to the Cash+, the rep told me I'd get 5% by the next day. If you've got your card already, the 5% is probably active already. Test it out. At the minimum you will get 1% back.
