Just checked my Cash+ and saw that they were ready for Q4 already. Doesn't look like there are any changes from Q3 in terms of our choices.
Since Discover is doing Department Stores for Q4, I chose Gyms & Fast Food as my 5% (those sound contradictory). I chose Restaurants as my 2%.
Mine are the same every time. Cell phone and electronics stores for 5% and gas for 2%.
Good to hear the sign up is available, but I'm waiting to get more details about what Chase Freedom has for Q4 categories. With Cash+, once you sign up, after a few short days those categories are locked down, and you don't have to have them locked in until October 1 anyhow.

That's not true. You can edit your selections up until about a week before the quarter begins. Nevertheless, there's no benefit to rushing to enroll.
For me, the 5% categories have been cell phones and fast food, 2% category has been restaurants. Has worked out pretty well for me, so far
The categories seem really weak for me nowadays. The only thing preventing me from chucking the card is the 5% fast food

...aside from making sure that you don't forget to enroll. It's easier than remembering to take my gingko biloba.
