US Bank Cash+ card

[ Edited ]

Last Friday, June 8th, I called Amex to request a PC from my Flexperks card to the new Cash+ card.  After a lengthy conversation with a nice lady rep with my concerns about a HP, new account, current credit line, apr, etc I decided to go ahead since she stated that nothing would change but the product change itself.  So, tonight, I just logged in  to my US Bank account  and it shows that my Flexperks card has been changed to the Cash+ Visa Sig card.  Nothing else has been changed.  My account number, 12K CL apr, and statement date are still the same.  In addition, no HP either after checking my report.  This worked out really good  for me.  US Bank came  through for me again.  Just wanted to share my experience with you all in case you had questions about the PC on this card.  I hope that I receive my card by the end of the week.

Re: AMEX Cash+ card

Congrats on the PC...BUT!!  You need to change the title of this to US Bank Cash+ card.  Amex doesn't have this product and it will confuse forum members.

Thanks!!

LOL!!  It happens to the best of us :smileyvery-happy:  I have a FlexPerks VISA too that I rarely ever use except for a recurring charge every month.  I've called them once before about PC'ing it another card and was told "no".  I'm gonna give it a shot again later this week to see if I get different results.  The limit on that card is 8k and shouldn't be a problem for them to change to a Siggy card.  I have another US Bank CC with a 10k limit that I would be more than happy to move some of the limit over if needed.  Will update my results later....

Hell, I only have two accounts, US Bank and Amex.   Can you imagine how bad I would have screwed it up if I would have 10 accounts?  :smileylol:

Re: US Bank Cash+ card

I can confirm that I successfully PC'd to the Cash+ card from a Flexperks card.  I have the same CL, opending date,  APR and all history, but a DIFFERENT card number.  I confirmed this by logging into my account.  There were no credit pulls at all.

I wonder why you got a different account number but I didn't.  Have you received your card yet?

Re: US Bank Cash+ card

I just called and was able to PC my Flexperks Select to the Cash+ Signature.

The rep said CL ($7500) and APR (14.9%) would stay the same and that my account number would be different. I should get my card in 7-10 days and I'll confirm then.
