Kidifico- I opened the card roughly 18-20 months ago and my overall utilization is 0%.. My fico is roughly 700 and I have barely used the card with the exception of one large purchase I paid off shortly after. Keep in mind you need a minimum of a 5k limit to be eligible for the cash+

This is weird but I applied for the Cash+. They denied me. I called rocn and they told me go away. Then I starting getting emails from them like I was customer. Then a Cash+ Rewards Signature showed up but the limit was $1,500. It's been a weird experience but it's a no fee card and I will keep it.

Congrats on the conversion of the card to a regular platinum. US Bank is a good one to have.

However Ken522 (and the other thread you are asking) are long gone Smiley Happy With a question such as yours, it's likely best just to start your own thread and get to the question so people read the headline.

I PC'd a US Bank Cash Rewards card last year to Cash+, and there was no HP involved. Once you have the history, and they have the Change offer up for you, it's a simple matter to make the switch. You might need a $5k CL, but that may be relaxed recently for Cash+. Call them to find out Smiley Happy

Well, searching for US Bank leads to dead ends because it's not a bank that is common.

No, my card was not secured, but that should not make a difference. You may not be able to PC it from a cash rewards today, but after a few months with an unsecured version, they may offer you the Cash+ as a PC. US Bank is all about building a banking relationship, so with patience and time, good things will happen. With each of the three US Bank cards that I have, after 9 or 10 months, they each got a 40% CLI, and these 40% CLI were on $8k to $10k starting limits.

While others may suggest it's a bad idea to use the Cash Rewards 1% card because it's not absolutely the best return, my suggestion is that using the Cash Rewards 1% card is an investment in building your relationship with US Bank so you get to the Cash+.
