Anyone have any information about US Bank? I just got a preapproved offer from them, with 0% on purchases fro 12 months and 3.99% on BT utnil 2014. Should I? Bear in mind that I already have 21 credit cards---everything from Discover to AMEX and anything in between.
Thoughts? Should I?

My wife works for US Bank as an analyst and the company is very strong, very conservative in its liability and one the large banks that didn't take a complete beating in this market and is not doing too bad, actually gave bonuses and other goodies for more than 2k to the employees, so that is pretty solid. Hope that helps.
I pulled the trigger last week for US Bank and ended up w/ 3k -- zero intro for a year and then 5.99 BT's thru 2013. Prior to this offer I'd rec'd a few others. The first offer was like yours, 3.99 for BTs.
My other limits are..
7k, 6k, 5.25k, 5k, 5k, 4k, 4k, 3.5k, 3k, 2.8k, 2.5k, 1.9k, 1.5k, 1.34k, 500, and 500.
They pulled TU for me (Indiana), which was a 682. I'm showing about 30% util.

Interesting. My scores are about 735, my utilization is around 21%, and my limits range from 1.1K to 11.6K, with the average being about 5K or so. Citi just raised my limit to 6.8K from 5.6K today. Tempting . . .
LOL -- I wanted a backup card w/ decent terms, so I went for it. AAoA is 5'ish and oldest is 18.5, if that helps.
PS -- make sure you let me (err, us) know if you throw caution to the wind!
