Anyone get approved after calling anyone...?
I got denied, but **bleep**, I would've been accepted if they sent it two weeks earlier. I don't mean to toot my horn, but I'm excellent when it comes to writing these little letters. It's actually how I got my first two credit cards.
I really, really want this card. Limit doesn't matter, I know I'll be a good boy.
Well, the card arrived. $10k, 0% APR untill October then 8.9%
I am done.
Congrats Midnight
I too am thinking of applying for this card.

is US Bank generally stingy with their credit lines? what are their financial reviews like? do they ask for paystubs?
From what I understand:
Banks That Tend to Be More Generous w/ credit lines:
BOA
Citi
Chase
Banks That Tend to Be More Uptight:
Amex
Discover

They more even keel. They are not stingy and they don't make you jump through too many hoops but they do make smart conservative decisions and that's why they do so well. They tend to treat people well and that's why people generally tend to treat them well. They don't swing too far between the outer extremes and that makes them a bit more reliable and stable. Hope that helps.

Also, they are not on the "Banks likely to go broke because their CEOs were greedy illegitimate children who should be jailed" list "D
Good one, I like that and definately true.
Hi Everyone,
I know this post is a few weeks old, but I was actually coming on here to research USBank and found this thread. I got a pre-qual offer this week from them, and since I'm doing a little shuffling thought I'd ask you guys what you think of them.
My EQ is 729 today, and am on the west coast. I haven't pulled my others in a while. I am thinking this my be worth a hard pull. I'd like to consolidate the smaller balances I have that have higher APR on my snowball list.

You seem to be at a level that you would do well with US Bank, give them a shot and we'll cross our fingers that they give you the love they have been giving everyone else that has mentioned them. They seem to be a good bank, on solid footing and one of the "hidden jems" according to federal reports. I think establishing with them would be a good move for you. Good luck.
