USA Fed Phone Call

Hi Guys,

I just got a phone call from the lending department at USA Fed. They needed to verify some information and she said I will have an answer at the end of their business day, which is about an hour from now. This is for their 20K VISA card.

I'll post an update as soon as I get the decision! I'm thinking it's a good thing they called?

Congrats. It is a start and I am sure they will give more CLI's over the period of time.

Re: USA Fed Phone Call

If they counteroffer, does that mean your chances of approval are good??

Initially I was offered $15k. Then I got a email with a counteroffer for $5k which i accepted and had to upload last two paystubs.

Yes.

I was offered $20k at time of joining USA Fed, requested $10k, and was countered with $15k and approved for $15k.

In talking with a USA Fed Rep and Loan Officer, they stated that counter offers are rarely ever declined, since the lending department doesn't usually decline the counter offers (counter offers are custom offered by said lending department) unless something is entirely amiss.
