Others may chime in but I think thats the only way to get in if your not directly affiliated with the military.

I agree with LS. The card has tier rate. I've had the card for almost two years. USAA gave me a generous CL. I think Amex BCE/BCP is better. I heard they only give it to full member.

I think you might get approved for Amex Zync with your score. First, you get the charge card. Then try to apply for Amex BCE after six months ( having the Zync card). The credit cards usually need higher score to get than charge card.
