USAA CC

Hi everyone.  I  want to ask if anyone who has a USAA CC , if they know what their CC score was.  The reason I'm asking is, I want to pull the trigger with them, but my utilization is kinda high as well as my inquiries.   I don't want to spend the HP if I don't have to.

Thanks to everyone on this board!  May your limits be high and your balances  be low...:smileyvery-happy:

FICO EQ: 633 8/15/12
lender pulled 11/3/12 EQ 661 TU 650 EX598
credit Karma 674 credit sesame: 663
B/K discharged 2/2006......closed 8/2012

May your limits be high and your balances low!

I was denied due to high utilization many years ago. My utilization was around 8%.  I applied over phone. They pulled EXP.  I think you need to pay it down your debt.

Re: USAA CC

FWIW, USAA CC approvals hinge quite a bit on whether you're a full member or not. If you are, I believe they tend to be pretty lenient with approvals and very generous with lines... On the other hand, you don't hear a lot of approval stories from partial members simply because very few products are available to them (us), and the ones that are just aren't very competitive.

I was approved in June for the USAA Amex and then in July for the Plat MC.  My scores were in the mid 600's and I was approved with 4K each.  I am a full member. They pulled EQ if I remember correctly.
