USBank Denial, Got something in the mail....

So i just opened an envelope and surprise surprise i just got a USBank Card with a $9,200 limit... (my highest limit by $3k) Even though i was flat out DENIED online... what the heck?

 

edit: forgot to mention its the USBank FlexPerks rewards card

did you apply for the cash+? IF so they will try to give you the 1% cashback card if they don't approve you for the cash+, at first  it seemed they usually only did it with people that were given less than 5K, but now i see them doing it to people approved for 7K 8K 9K lines.

no i believe i applied for this flexperks card. i didnt apply for the cash+ card because its a visa signature card and i've heard they dont report limits so i didnt bother.

well thats odd then lol. BTW i think its only BOA now that doesn't report a limit for its Visa Sigs(they do for their world mastercards though) A couple years ago pretty much nobody did but most issuers have fixed that.

 

Your flexperks is 9.2K, they don't give out Visa Sigs for that card?

I think they do issue those in visa siggy too. If I remember correctly, DustinK has the FlexPerks Visa Siggy.

with your scores I have no idea why they would decline you, oh and btw you know Flex points can be worth 2x their value so technically you got a potentially 4% card Smiley Happy

Yeah but they need  to get rid of that FTF and then the card would be hot hot hot!
