UTIL vs balance transfer? which CC?

Since most prime lenders run away when you app with high or higher than normal util which most likely results in a denial.  Which cards if any are more BT friendly?

Chase Freedom 1.5k | Amazon 3K | Walmart 3K | Buckle 300 | AMEX BCE 2.5K | CHASE CSP 12K | CITI sears 6k | Kay 2k

On the prowl for Chase Sapphire Preferred! APPROVED 12K!

Re: UTIL vs balance transfer? which CC?

Chase Slate is designed just for BT's

Citi has 2 diamond and simplicity

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: UTIL vs balance transfer? which CC?

Trying to get a BT card when you have high utilization is a problem.

One long-term solution to this issue is to sign up with lenders who frequently offer BT deals.

An example is NFCU, and another one is PSECU, who recently sent me some 2.9% BT checks.
