Tried for CLI last night. Posted my one approval out of 3 in the approvals board. Surprisingly it was the old HSBC.
The other 2 cards got the 2-3 day message.
Got on with chat today to find out why 1 card gets instant and other 2 get 2-3 day message.
First he tells me congrats you can apply for an increase online.
Well Duh I just told you I already did that.
He doesn't know why 2 get message and 1 gets increase.
Okay.
Can I switch to quicksilver?
Congrats you can get quicksilver one with your current annual fee. (Argggh)
Okay well can you waive the fees for my 3 cards for this year since we have been a customer for so long.
Nope sorry. Existing terms on your contract say there has to be an annual fee.
Ugh....fine
The worst part is keeping the existing annual fee is beneficial on 1 card ($19 instead of $39) but on my old HSBC its $59.
I understand your frustration. Contact the Capital One EO via email, detailing what you would like and they will contact you back and conduct a manual review.
So you tried to get a CLI from Capital One on three cards all at the same time?

Yes, and surprisingly enough it was the 3rd card that I tried that gave me the increase. I tried my largest 1 first and then my rewards card and then the old HSBC card and the HSBC got $250.
Their FAQ's says that different accounts can be requested at the same time.
