I don't have any recent statistics to add, but have in the past received auto cli on a few cards. They were all cards that were paid in full after the statement (ie: let balance report, then PIF before due date to avoid interest). I specifically remember one card that I was using very little (occasionally once a month at a gas station) and paying before the statement just so that it was one less card I would have to worry about and it would report at $0. Then one month I let a balance report and when I got that statement, I had received an auto-CLI. I have never carried a balance on any of these cards, since I always PIF by the due date.
The only time I got Auto love from a creditor was from BofA and it was when my card graduated from secured to unsecured. When they graduated it, they of course refunded the deposit and they bumped it up from 300 to 2300. I was always paying in full At the time.

The cap1 I got this feb. My Discover, Amex, both Chase cards, and my Sallie Mae I just got on Tuesday. The rest of my lineup is less than two years old.
I'm just trying to see what creditors like with spending/paying habits that make them want give CLI, automatically or manually requested.
Oh my goodness,
Congrats,
