**Update Ebates upgrading to signature?

When I applied for Ebates last night, I did not get the signature card because it was only a $3,000 approval. If I get past $4,000, am I able to upgrade to the Visa signature? If so how difficult is this? Thank you :-)

Just got on chat with Ebates. They said they can upgrade to a Visa Signature. You have to be automatically upgraded and they review your account periodically. Very similar to the MasterCard with Walmart. Interesting.

I've never heard of anybody being able to get an upgrade from platinum to signature.

The threshold is usually $5k and as explained by one of their CSR it cannot be done. Something to do with how the account is coded at the time of opening.

Yes you can forget about that.

They are preprogrammed in a way that once you get a premium, it stays a premium so i wouldn't sweat over it.

Well that's a bummer! But a bummer I can deal with! I'm happy and excited to have Ebates. I'm loving Synchrony right now. I have other Siggys, and I won't carry a balance anyway.
