UPDATE:
Well I received the new UPROMISE BOA card yesterday. It looks exactly like the Citibank. Only difference is that They gave me a higher limit ($3300) then what CITIBANK ($2800) gave me. I did notice they kept the "cardmember since" the same. I until the card becomes officially active on March 29 then I will be able to sign up to see what my APR is now. It had dropped to 13.24%. Maybe it is lower *fingers crossed*
I also got my new Upromise card this week. BofA increased my limit from $1,000 (w/Citi) to $2,500 and I have not seen where they made an inquiry on me. I'm wondering, though, how will this change be reflected on my credit report and does it impact my scores in any way. I currently have a little over $200 on the Citi card and had planned on paying it in full before the official switch on the 29th, but am now wondering if there would be any advantage in stretching it out a little.

Just got mine! Looks like I got back in with Bank of America. I hope they don't close my account on me for having a charge off with them in the past.
They kept my limit the same $3,600, which is by far my largest. I'm really glad they didn't close this on me yet, I use this card for all of my monthly purchases. I'm not going to ask for any CLI or anything for awhile. Let me build a relationship back with BOA.
Then I only have Chase left to fix...
Hi all,
Just got my card today - they raised my limit from $3200 to $5500 and changed it to a world mastercard. Funny thing is they declined my CLI increase for my worldpoints visa yesterday with a $500 limit. The worldpoints visa used to be a partially secured card but graduated in January 09. Weird.
( my limit didn't get raised. but $3600 is pretty good for me.
i wonder if they will automatically link this to my BOA bank account?
I also got my new card in the mail yesterday and to my surprise they raised by credit limit by $3,000! I was worried they would lower it because I've paid a lot off in the past few months and haven't been using it as much as I use to.
I am also wondering/worried what my APR will be. I currently have 9.4% and I read in a new policy agreement that I got last month that it could be around 10.99% or more, depending on the market or something on 3/29.
I found alot of answers to my questions about this change on www.upromise.com/faq
Here's one of the faq's that answers whether this change will affect our credit report/scores:
17. How will this transfer affect my credit score and credit report?
The transition from Citi to Bank of America and the subsequent change in credit card numbers will have no impact on your credit score. Beginning about 60 days after March 29, 2009, your new Upromise credit card account will be listed as "Bk of Amer" (Bank of America) on your credit report.
