Re: Upromise Card change

Now that I can finally access the website. I still do not know what my APR is. That sucks. The balance on the old card was zero with a credit of $1 which i see was transferred to BOA. Lets see what happens in the next few days.

Re: Upromise Card change

Same thing here.  It took a few days for me to be able to get on the website, but then no APR.  I did see where I could transfer balances for 9%, which was my rate with Citi, so I'm wondering if that is my APR.  I'm go back on and see if I can find something that will tell me what it is.

Re: Upromise Card change

Mine says I can transfer a balance at 9.24% -- which was my APR with Citi

Re: Upromise Card change

I just found out about this card today when I signed out of my BoA online credit card stuff.

Would anyone recommend this over a BoA World Points Master Card?  If I were to call and ask for a product change, I'd probably lose my points that I have since the UPromise one isn't a points card, correct?

Though I'd lose my points (most likely), I'd be able to keep my credit history from my current card, as well as credit limit and APR?

Has anyone else done this or most of the people that have them had Citibank's and got switched over automatically?

Thanks.

Re: Upromise Card change

The other thing I noticed, is now this card seems to have two types:  Gas and Groceries or Dining and Groceries.  Mine automatically got converted to Gas and Groceries it seems.

Re: Upromise Card change

I'm in shock. I got my first BOA statement emailed to me today. My APR is the same as I had with CitiBank- 9.24%!

Here I was freaking out ever since I heard they were switching the Upromise card to BOA, thinking they would lower my credit limit and raise my APR.  My credit limit was raised from 11,400 to 14,400 and my APR is the same! This is great news!

Hope the same happens for everyone else!

Re: Upromise Card change

Well that is great to hear. I had thought about using the card today just so i could get a statement to see what the APR is. But if it is the same as Citi then there is no need to use it unless it is an emergency.

Re: Upromise Card change

I've been using it for everything, as I did with the Citi card.  No problems/hassles yet.

Re: Upromise Card change

I used it for the first time today. $50 purchase. I want to see what happens. I am still not a big fan of BOA.
