Urggh, two things that might be wrong with my Chase Application in waiting

Applied yesterday online, got the 30 day notice. I had asked for balance transfers of $2700 and $1500 so that might be an issue.

Anyway called the automated # they gave me, said I have two outstanding applications, both from yesterday. Probably hit the back button and it re-applied. So that could be an issue.

Issue # 2 is I have Circuit City which I think is Chase and I was 3 days late (computer issues) which got me Overlimit too.

Am I sunk and if not is there some live person # I can call to handle that?

Also how do I get the extra inquiry off if it is on?

Thanks, just did, they were very nice and tried to be helpful and explained the old Cap1 CO and the Bally CO (**bleep** they pulled Experian!) but it was the OL Circuit City that did it. She said pay down and call back when the reports update.

If you didn't already ask about it in your recon attempt, you can call again, let them know what happened with the accidental duplicate app and ask if they would be so kind as to either remove it or at least recode it to a soft, under the circumstances.

I had a similar thing happen with a BofA cc app a few months ago, and they were nice enough to remove the duplicate inq.

Good luck.  Smiley Happy
