VS Angel Card to VIP?

According to their site you need to earn 250 points to be upgraded. I just got this card in the last month and thanks to holiday double points I have 500 opts. Does anyone know if you get a new card? Do they upgrade on their own or do I need to request it?

Re: VS Angel Card to VIP?

Once the statement date came and the statement was cut, they then let me know my card was being upgraded to VIP and that I would be getting my next reward and my new black VIP card in 6 weeks. It reflected my status in store and online but the physcial card took forever.
