Valero not reporting to Experian

Has anyone noticed Valero only reporting to TU and EQ? They have yet to report to EX for me. I called and a CSR informed me they would look into it and call me back. Of course, no call has been received. What a shocker!!

Hi Going, Believe it or not, no hard pull from any bureau. They were hounding me with preapprovals in the mail for months. A few months ago I decided to give it a try. I applied online and got the card about a week later.

Re: Valero not reporting to Experian

How right your are! I called them today and they do not report to EX, ever. This is what the credit analyst told the CSR. I wonder why that is?

Re: Valero not reporting to Experian

They don't want to pay to participate in EX, only in EQ and TU. Betcha a nickel that EX charges more.

Re: Valero not reporting to Experian

I think they report to the 2 bureaus that are pulled the most.I have had their card for a while now and it came with an okay CL (400) for a gas card. Just something to ponder though... if one was to default on valero... would they then report to experian. Hmmmmm.
I've been where you are trying to go and I don't wanna go back.

Re: Valero not reporting to Experian

If they don't participate they probably would not post the CO. The CA's are an entirely different matter.
