Here's my delima. I currently have a Citi HHonors Reserve card which gives me Gold status for Hilton Hotels. I also have a Chase Marriott Rewards Cad and an Amex SPG Card. After the recent merger of SPG/MArriott, my Marriott status was upgraded to Gold to match my SPG Gold status. THis now gives me late checkout and breakfast with Marriott. So now I'm thinking, is the HHonors credit card even worth keeping anymore? There are no anniversary nights for HHonors card holders. You have to spend $10k to get a free night. Yeah right.
Anyone in this situation? Hiltons are good hotels. BUt now the SPG/Marriott merger opened up a lot of good choices. I'm currently paying an $85 annual fee for the Citi HHonors Reserve. $0 balance.
