I chickened out and settled for the venture1 how long has anyone waited to try and uograde? Any sucess?

I believe its either 6 months or 1 year. Did you just apply? Might be able to get venture for no additional hp. Ymmv

a few have been able to upgrade depending spend, and YMMV, in like 2-3 months, but honestly id wait 6 months. Also...you can app back to back, for the QS. Most have been getting one pull for both cards.

You app for Venture 1st, then QS 2nd..good luck!

Yeah I got my journey upgraded to qs. I applied first but didn't know about the 2 card limit I have a secured card to. I called they upgraded and I don't think they inquired me for the app. It still hasn't shown up on any of the bureaus

Yeah just applied yesterday. How would you go about it? Like a recon for the venture instead of the venture1?

I think u have to wait 1 year to pc to a card with an annual fee?

ddemari is correct. If you're trying to PC a no-fee card to one with a fee, you have to wait 13 months. Same thing if you're trying to convert an AF card to one with a higher AF (example: Amex Gold to Platinum). I believe it was part of the CARD act.

I've never heard anyone who was able to PC to the Venture (from anything).  Whenever I've been offered the PC opportunity, it was for the 1.25 miles.  Can anyone confirm ever truly changing to the 2 miles on purchases?
