Verification of Income - New CC Stardard or Option

Hi

Are all CC issuers now looking to verify income for every CC application or is it a hit and miss kinda thing?  I don't have time to run to HR every time some clerk has a question.

Who all have you applied to are verifying income?

I just applied to Orchard last week. I'm in the rebuilding/cleaning stages, and I was approved instantly. Now just waiting for the card in the mail. I've never had that happen to me.

Is it the big banks or are credit unions doing it now, too?

HR wouldn't be required in most cases.

Simply keep your paystubs and W-2 handy.  Occassionally somebody (can you say AMEX) may even ask for tax returns or T4506.
