There really is no status associated with this card. It does not even qualify for Signature status. You not only don't need to have an income to be offered the card, you don't have to have an income over $10K to be approved for it. The only "status" attached is that you belong to a group of individuals who can/will pay a $495 AF for a card of dubious value. Ameriprise is so much better for < 1/3 the cost. (And it is a genuine World/Signature card.)
