Visa Signature?

I thought the Visa Signature was for $5000 credit limit? I just got my Amazon Visa in the mail today and it is a signature with a $1800 limit. Odd thing is, my Freedom came in the mail today as well and it isn't a World Mastercard despite being the higher limit. ($2700)

Re: Visa Signature?

visa signature is 5000 minimum.

maybe chase up'ed your CL. your 1800 might be your initial temporary CL. Chase does that sometimes. Best way to verify is to call.

Re: Visa Signature?

Signature minimum limits are determined by the issuer. Most but not all start at $5k. Some issuers don't even offer a signature card I.e. DCU even though the CL are high enough.

Re: Visa Signature?

Just to update. My letter that came with my CC said my balance was $1800. I just got the time to set up my online account. I confirmed the balance is still $1800 so I have a Visa Signature with $1800 CL. It's odd but I'm not complaining at all. It looks great on the card.

Congratulations! You're the first one I know that have a sub-2k CL Visa Signature card. It's a great family of cards to have in your portfolio. Smiley Wink
