Visa vs Visa Signature

Whats the difference? I want to apply for the Marriott rewards card which is through chase, but they only offer the card as a visa signature. Does the word "signature" make it harder?

Re: Visa vs Visa Signature

Usually signature cards do not report a CL, so can screw up your util % unless you are careful
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid
