Well, I had'nt apped for anything in awhile. They normally pull EQ, and they did today. I did'nt know what to expect. They just called and said, I could only approve you for $5000.00 . She asked would that be OK. I said sure, as I was smiling on the inside. This is now my highest limit card, and they report to all 3 credit bureaus.
Hoping this will open the door for more CC's with larger limits. Might have to get rid of my Cap1 cards, only $750 limit on two cards. Only thing she said my EQ score was 641 when MyFico has it at 663. Still pleased with my new card.

CONGRATS!!!!
AWESOME CL!!
i love credit unions, my credit union is awesome gives me back like 50$ a month just for keeping my money with them.. alot more then chase has ever done for me
Congrats! That is a nice starting limit with your CU!!
I can't wait to be able to step foot into PSECU credit products sometime next year!! I really want that 5K Combo they offer!
My goal is to get back into the Amex family, and get a USAA Visa or MC with a high CL. After that I think I will be done.

Give it 6 months with good payment and usage and you'll be in with AMEX!!! Good luck to you!!
Congrats! You have a great CU. So many CCs don't want to be the first one to give you a big CL. Definitely don't need those Cap Ones any more. I just closed my $750 Cap One the other day since they won't CLI or waive the AF. Next day, I got a Chase for $3k. Cap One is great for rebuilding, but beyond that, they don't seem to want to serve this market.

There is a member here who successfully converted his into a ventureone after having it for quite awhile. So whats letting it age for awhile in the SD and a charge here and there?? I would do that.
Yep...I agree about Cap1. I will probably wait 6 months and go for an Amex and another USAA card.
