I want the marriott rewards card. I wonder if i'll have any luck getting changed to that.
I tried three times for the Marriott card -- no, no, no - Although each time the CSR went away for a few minutes to try it...
Went with the PerfectCard as it seemed to be the card that was going through around here - sailed right through. I'm going to hang tight and try again for the Marriott card after a few months.

I had the same experience, although was going for the Freedom card. When I converted my WaMu Platinum to the Perfect card program, the CSR immediately said, "sure, we can do that for you."
When attempting to convert my second Chase card from Amazon to the Freedom program (three times), they took several minutes to "look into the options available," and each time came back and said that it was not possible.
Note: I used to use the WaMu card religiously. The Amazon card, however, was never used after taking advantage of the introductory offer, as I don't shop Amazon. That may have something to do with this.

Thanks...that number worked like a charm for me too. After combining my Chase card and 2 Wamu cards into one they only offered me the Travel Plus card to change too. Tried that other number and now have the Freedom Plus!
How did you go about combining accounts? Does it now show one as "Closed"?

Bummer.
A few people on the board said they tried a few times with other reps and then got it. If at first you do not suceed try, try again. So I would try again emasta. Maybe better luck if you try again.
