Wait for CSP?

*taking a deep breath for long winded statement*

Hi all, I want to app for the CSP as I plan to do some traveling in the coming months. I'd like some feedback on approval chances of this card please. Stats are as follows:

Current FICO: 650EQ, 644EX, 629TU
Bad stuff: 1 paid VS, 1 paid CO ($333) both 5 yrs ago & 1-2 small collections, depending on which bureau, both 6 yrs old and may be removed within 30 days.

Sent GW for VS & CO

Open TLs

Auto loan opened 6/2014... balance: $52,000
Auto loan opened 2011 ...balance: $5,000 (this TL has been removed for some reason??)
Amex BCE opened 6/14 ....2200/2500 (paid to 0, balance will update mid month)
Chase freedom opened 6/14 ...0/1000(hasn't updated balance with EX yet)
Wells Fargo opened 10/13 ...530/1000 (paid to 290, will update tomorrow)
Barclay MC opened 6/14 ...100/1000 (paid to 0, will update tomorrow)
Cap1 QS1 opened 12/14 ...350/500 (recent CLI to 1500 not reporting yet)
Cap1 plat opened 12/14 ...350/500 (recent CLI to 1500 not reporting yet)
Cap1 secured opened 4/14... 300/500 (paid to 0, will update mid month)
Student loan opened 2012... $1400 balance
Oldest account 10yrs
AAoA 5.2 years
Income 115,000

In summary, in two weeks, I will have 3/7 cards reporting a balance with total UTL under 10%, plus 2 cards will be reflecting a 1000 CLI each. I'm hoping this gets my scores back in the 680 ish range. Most of my cards had 0% offers that I took advantage of, hence the reason for a balance.

Given all of this, do yall think I have a fair shot at being approved for the CSP? I have a 9 month history with Chase freedom. My initial assessment: my profile could potentially support the $5k min CL, but it may be wise to wait until after June to let the inqs and other TLs age. However, I'll be well into my traveling by then.

As always. waiting Never hurts but as somebody on here said "apping is good for the soul" lol Thanks for any input!

I'd wait until all those changes take effect.  Your biggest hurdle will be the jump in credit card limit from your existing ones but it wouldn't be the first time it's happened

Re: Wait for CSP?

Oops should've clarified...earliest I'd app would be ~3/20 when all balances update. Yeah the pre existing 5k CL *requirement* is a weird animal...heard of it going both ways.

If your scores rise to the upper 600s you should be ok.  Just be prepared to recon and state your case
