Wait until new available credit hits the CBs before applying?

I have a thin revolving file; four newer cards w 40K available (10% util) but have an additional 18K pending that hasn't hit the books yet.

Should I wait til that new line reports before applying for new cc to help ensure a higher SL?

thanks

Re: Wait until new available credit hits the CBs before applying?

Can't hurt to wait until CR's are updated

However the CL will based on income and CR's and not based on what limits you have

In fact sometimes this can hurt you

Reasons given:

DTI

To much available credit

Good luck

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

That certainly would help the cause even more. It would drive the utilization number down also.
