I charged $400 for the past two statements... and left $40 bal on first statement and $200 on second statement... i know its kinda high but it worked...

Did you PIF each statement?

So far on my $150 limit walmart card I have been to wal-mart twice. I charge about $30, then paid $30 online. Second time I went, I charge about $25 and then went home and paid $15. I was hoping that charging up to 30%, then paying down to 8% multiple times in a billing cycle would get me a CLI.

Do you think that having a 40% util helped in getting the CLI?

I think the usage and leaving a balance helped a lot...but that's just me.... I requested a cli on the first statement and was denied... I did the same things with my chevron gas card... I left $50 each two statements and also got an increase from $400 to $700.... Both cards were increased the same day i believe since i check my account everyday..

use and pay, is all I have noticed they care about, I have even left balances on the cards and gotten CLI's just make more than the minimum payment. Don't max out the card I have let over 60% of my credit limit report and pay it down, I love GE Amazon card,  over $25 is free shpping, over $!50 is free interest for 6 months. the $150 is usually the minimum I  use the card for, then make more than the minimum payment on the card each paycheck, GE doesn't care if you pay more than once a month.

Amazon Card  started at $900  Jan 2011 now   $2500.one autoCLI at 6 months I was scared of the Luv button.

Walmart Card  started at $600  Nov 2011  now $1700
