Wally World Card

I am setting short term goals now working on my credit (3 month increments)

My question is does anyone know what scores you need to get a Wal-Mart card?

also which CRB they pull from?

I would like to be approved for one shortly after Christmas.

Thanks

Re: Wally World Card

I just did a quick run through WGMC and it the lowest I noticed anyone get approved for was high 500's, but there were a lot of people who still got declined in the low 600's. It probably depends on what is on your report and if you have any recent baddies. Try taking a look there and reading through the comments of some of the people that were approved with high 500 scores.

Re: Wally World Card

Walmart is backed by GEMB. In Missouri, they pull EQ.

As for getting approved.........with GEMB it is anyone's guess.

I get declined. My friend, who is currently being sued by GEMB, gets approved for GEMB backed cards.

I have blacklisted them!

Re: Wally World Card

Makes you wonder what they are looking for.

Re: Wally World Card

I just applied today for Wal-Mart and was approved for a $700 limit, which is fine for me.  Equifax is 620, but I don't know what they pulled for the application.  I also was approved by Target, but the limit is lower, $200.   The only other store card I have is Macy's, which I've had for more than a year, but I don't recall the limit and I rarely use it.   I am in the process of rebuilding because I was a few months late with some payments during a serious medical crisis two years back.
