I used my card twice and pif during the first month. I then called and told them that I wanted to take advantage of the 0% interest deal they have going on for Christmas right now and that I did not want to max my card out by using it. I requested a bump to 1000.00 and they approved it. On walmart and amazon in the same day. You can see the 0% deal on your walmart "manage acount" page. I wish I would have asked for more because I probably would have gotten it but I got scared with it being my first call in for a cli Cat Tongue

lol just do it right before then just use your card and pay in full before the due dates, i used my account ONCE before I had my CLI and that was the night before LOL

Technically, you have to have four statements cut with balances and make pmts....

But with the uw num, you don't really have to wait at all lol...

Just as an example, in August...these are the clis I received upon request:

Lowe's 8500-12000
Dillard's 4200-7000
Paypal MC 4400-7000
BR Visa 3000-7000
Wmt Disc 2500-5000

Out of curiosity I tried that.  I asked for $2000, but instead they simply gave me $1000 as the total.  I did not really need the extra credit but was curious.  It took about 10 minutes and the lady came back and said sorry that she could not give me the whole amount.  I actually am happy as later it might be handy in switching the card out to being a Walmart Discover card.

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.....
Always follow these rules: Only take a HP for a new account. Always use the best rewards card for that reward category. Don't close a card unless you know you really should. Never use more than 35% of a credit limit. Recon as much and as best you can. Use the introductory period to the best advantage. Get the signup bonus. Whenever possible PIF or balance transfer so you pay less in interest. Never give an excellent rating when it is actually the norm. Always look for a discount as more is always better.
Always accept candy from strangers because they have the best candy or from people you know have good candy.
