85% of their transactions in the past were made by cash?  How long as go was in the past? :smileyhappy:

I'll certainly be interested to see what they say, Amex definitely needs to revamp some of their practices, this may be one of them enroute to being a more general purpose card issuer / servicer.

I bet it has something to do with a Walmart-branded Serve card.

It will be a prepaid card, I'm sure. much like the one Amex brands for Target.

I know it, but there can't be many other reasons to have a joint announcement. Unless Wally-world is buying Amex.LOL

The walmart moneycard is offered in a visa and MC version. Chances are they're going to announce an amex version, or somehow play the amex prepaid card into their walmart moneycard equation.

It is gonna be something dumb like that :smileytongue:

I didn't even know about the moneycard until I was at lunch the other day, and the card I wanted to use was trapped behind my walmart card, so I pulled that out, and my buddy goes "oh, you have the walmart prepaid card?" I was like "no..."
