No baddies, no balances on any other cards.
This is GE's standard response. Take your time and don't get frustrated - with positive payment history it will eventually rise. I started out at $600 and got auto increased to $800 in January of this year. Since that time, I've asked for CLI's every 4 months and been PC'd to the Discover version, with a current limit of $4000. You'll get there. ![]()

It is possible to get an increase with no statements with GE backed cards.
Within the past month, I was able to get CLI's on two accounts:
WalMart - no statements or balance for 2 months - 600 CLI
JCPenney - no statements or balance for 6 months - 1400 CLI
Both cards will be two years old next month. The JCP card never had a CLI. The WalMart card had one at the 4 month mark...nothing after that until last month.

You'll find comfort in this S7, lol. Found out my statement had cut yesterday, previous to that I had put through ~450 (600 CL) and PIF, so I figured, what the hell. Requested 1600, denied outright, no counter. As expected of course, so no complaints. I really just wanted to toe the line. I'll wait until the 4th statement before asking again. Maybe even the 5th to give it 4 statements between requests.
It's tough finding amusing things to do when you're really just playing the waiting game on your credit. GWilling can only take up so much time, haha.
