I've had my Walmart store card for 3 months now and am kind of tempted to request a CLI because of the holiday season. Is their CLI a HP or SP?

Thanks for the response. I closed on a house in mid-October and have since taken on a couple of new cards along with the mortgage. My total util is about 30% (I plan on paying most of it off in the next month). I would like a CLI with Walmart and keep hearing about the generosity, so thought I'd give it a shot if it was a SP.

Its a SP, but GE, the backer of the Walmart card usually doesn't give out CLI until you have had the card 4 months and usually every eligible, unless you call and talk to an underwriter, number in the backdoor numbers.

give it a shot and let us know what happened.

I was intending on waiting until the 4 month mark, but I've been reading about people getting CLIs after 2 months.

As james wrote, call the uw number for wal mart for your cli request. People have gotten cli the same day they got approved for the card!

lol, I just maxed my card out buying a 47" lg 3d led tv. The next day I paid it off at the register, well all but 90 cents. I am thinking about calling the uw today and asking for a cli.
