My 4th statement will be closing tomorrow. I received a surprize auto $100. increase from them about 2 months ago (from a starting point of $600. to $700). Do I have to wait 4 months after that increase or should I be good giving them a call after my statement posts this week?
Also, I jumped the gun and called to get an increase last month. I'm pretty sure I called the first number -Wal-Mart Underwriting: 877-294-7548; 877-294-8770. I got a recording like I get when I call the number on the back of the card. Followed the automated system and got shot down. Letter said that I didn't have enough history with the credit line. Is that the number that you guys are calling?
My Wallet - Barclay's - $3700. Target - $3000. Cap 1 - $2500. Merrick - $1000. Orchard - $950. Walmart - $700. JCP - $200.

I got an increase last month from 1100 to 1500 and after reading the website I called and tried for a recon and got denied, and the letter said I did not have enough time at my established limit. I was confused because I wasnt trying to go for another one lol I was trying to have them reconsider the one they gave me, I have had them for 3 and a half years! I do love them though

Made a thread a while ago about Walmart decreasing my credit limit from $800 to my balance ($180.00) because of a late payment (10 days late). Was denied for CLI two months ago over the phone. Saw this thread and decided to try online and they increased me to $400, not where I was before but a lot better than $180.
I don't want to make another thread but will Walmart close my card if I don't use it? I haven't used it since May...

I would charge something, maybe put a tank of gas with 15cents off per gallon. After 4 months, call u/w again for increase.
Free monthly TU08 alone is enough to keep it open.

Ok, no love from GE for me this month (4th month)
I called the backdoor number, spoke with the representiive, answered a few questions about income and how much I wanted. A few minutes later the girl came back and asked about tax leins that I have on my CR. I told her those were from a company that I owned and I have arrangements with the IRS. A few seconds later she told me that they won't be able to approve an increase at this time. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait. Those tax leins won't be going anywhere so they will slow me down a little.

I had my walmart card just shy of 3 months, called to get a cli, from $300 to 1k (general #) was transfered (sounded like someone from India?) The man was vague, didin't ask me any questions really, said I'd get something in the mail. It basically said not enough history. Hmphh...
Credit limit October 20, 2012, $300, 2 days later after I asked for cli and was denied, it did jump from $300 to $500. Transunion was 667 at time of call, now it's 681, a few days after the cli.

I just got HP for my CLI request when calling number in this post. Denied. So, not only did I lose an INQ, I feel like crap.
This is month #9 for this card and I've gone up a lousy 100.00 (auto after like 30 days).
