Have been reading and see a lot posters have a Walmart credit card. Is it pretty easy to obtain one? My scores are 612 EQ and as of today, TU 583. Just looking for another card to help boost my scores.

I had scores in the 500s and 20 baddies and they approved me for a store card with a $300 CL. It is a great way to rebuild. They also provide a free TU FICO score every month if you sign up for electronic billing.

If approved, just remember upon activating the card, you sign up for paperless billing, so that you get the monthly fico score.

I was approved for $500 with fico score in really low 600's ... It's only been two statements and they auto increased to $900 ... I'm rebuilding and i think it's really easy to get... Had 4 collections and 5 charge offs, maybe more ... From 6 yrs ago

GE is one of thebest credit card that I have when it comes to CLI. I had opened my Walmart card in Jan 2012 and used very little and still went from 700 to 1,300. My GE / Belk card I used once and they gave me 300 CLI when I asked. I have had cards for over two years and nerver got a CLI.

I applied and was DENIED!! I was shocked considering I apped for Target (both cards are BK friendly) and while denied Oct 2011, was approved April 2012. I may app for them again in Sept or October 2012 after I pay off my other cards. I use Walmart a bit, but I'd rather have a gas card, AMEX, or Home Depot.
